Located on the outskirts of Lanark Village, Providence Point is reaching new heights every year. They are a year round retreat, as well as award winning syrup makers. They are the winners of the Perth Courier Trophy for Grand Champions Perth Maplefest Producers. Owners, Rene and Jeanette opened the business in 1999 and have been expanding each year. The 43 acres of land on the Clyde River is one of the greatest assets to Lanark County.
Empire Cheese is located in Campbellford, near Havelock, and is the only cheese manufacturing plant left in Northumberland, as well as the first cheese manufacturing plant east of Toronto. The Empire Cheese and Butter Co-op is owned and operated by local dairy farmers, and are registered HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) which ensures the safety of the food they process and sell. Empire makes their cheeses the old fashioned way. They use open-styled vats, which give the cheese a better flavour. They naturally age the cheese, with no preservatives, they then vacuum-pack the finished product with modern technology to keep it fresh and give it a better quality. This procedure has paid off well. They are the British Empire Cheese show Grand Champions as well as the Royal Winter Fair Grand Champions, to which they achieved the following:

Just Wing It is the increasingly popular company that makes all natural gourmet cooking sauces and marinades. Owner and producer Thomas William Riding and his wife and the packager Deborah, run their business out of Merrickville, a town known as “The Jewel of the Rideau”. Wing It products have no artificial flavour, no additives, no preservatives as well as no thickening agents. They are flavourful and natural. The “Wing It Man” will be making periodic visits to our store to demonstrate his products.

Purest Natural Foods is a local company that produces completely natural foods. Their products are dairy free, gluten free, wheat free, egg free, corn free, pure vegan, low sodium, whey free, lactose free and contain no artificial flavours, no artificial colours, no artificial sweeteners as well as no fillers. The most surprising thing about the Purest products is that they are full of great flavour and taste amazing. Purest makes a wide variety of products from hot cocoa mix to fish batter and cane sugar. A Purest representative also visits our store from time to time.
Most people cannot survive one day with out a great cup of coffee, and we have found the most flavourful and delicious coffee that is also Fair Trade certified. Equator coffee is located in Almote, Ontario has been family owned and operated since its début in 1998. Other than the great flavour of Equator, we love to sell this product because it helps to expand the use of fair traded coffee. They are fair trade certified, organic and environmentally sustainable as well as locally and freshly roasted. We sample equator coffee in our store daily to ensure its great flavour. We sell coffee to suit everyone's taste buds, from bold to smooth flavoured.
In 1898 Maurice Berge, a pharmacy dispenser, created a device that was used to disinfect the air in hospitals. This handy device, called the Lamp Berge, was used to purify the air. Highland Honey
Green Beaver is rapidly growing across Ontario. It is a safe and effective method for personal hygiene. The products were developed shortly after creators, Karen Clarke and Alain Mènard, had a baby and realized that there were not a lot of chemical free personal care products. Karen and Alain use all natural ingredients, vegan and gluten free ingredients, wild and organic Canadian ingredients (to reduce pesticides and to support Canadian farming), as well as no artificial, synthetic or chemical ingredients and all of their ingredients are ecologically sound. They do not use ingredients derived from petrol and do not test their products or ingredients on animals. 
Francesco’s Coffee Company Inc. has over 100 years of experience in the coffee making business. Founder, Francesco Comino started roasting coffee when he was not satisfied with the quality of the bean. He developed better flavours and better quality in the beans with his new roasting techniques. Francesco sold his coffee beans for over 60 years in his own shop. Now the coffee, still roasted in the traditional sense, is made Ottawa and is available in our store now.
Highland Honey is one of the few local honey producers in Lanark Highlands. The company is located in Watson Corners and Pine Grove. Highland Honey is made with the highest quality.

Ouellette Farm is located in Middleville. The farm was owned by the Mather family for 150 years. In 2002 Caroline and Patrick Ouellette purchased the farm and keep some of the traditional ways of farming. They have “full liberty” chickens, pasture-raised beef, meat birds and more. Their grapeseed oils and specialty wine vinegars are made with by-products from a winery in the Niagara region in Ontario. You can fine the oils for sale in our store, where we sample the product daily. | ||||
The fourth generation of the Paul’s family to make Maple Syrup in the Lanark Highlands. David and Sheila tap into the hundred year old trees that produce sap which is then made into syrup, maple butter and maple sugar. Sample the product in store for a sweet treat.
